I can definitely see that being the case! But yes, I thought long and hard about Spider coming into play at the end. It sat with me from the moment I finished the book. Glad we were able to bring some light to that situation and share our views!

Loved this book!! Chelsea, thank you for putting into words the strange feeling I had about Spider coming to save the day at the end. I knew it bothered me, but I wasn’t sure why. Sarah, I think you’re on to something with your thoughts on Spider now being under Mark’s control here. I think maybe he attacked Louise earlier in the story because Pupkin had control over Mark at the time. Spider is a manifestation of Mark’s so it makes sense to me!
